Waking up

It is always such a joy to me to be able to watch as people discover things about themselves that they were unaware of. I have recently been pursuing my goal of becoming an International Speaker. A teacher of hope, inspiration and motivation. My life has been very challenging, I have realized that it is how I like to do things, in becoming a professional hockey player I developed the habit of pushing myself to the limit. It is something that I do today because I have seen it as a way to becoming something more. In my own businesses I did things for which I was condemned, in my personal life I have been criticized more that I care to admit, but through it all I have developed the habit of Go hard or Go home. It has brought me many failures but with failure come the opportunity for success.
Over the past couple of weeks I have been travelling back and forth to Calgary from Hershey. I have been exposing myself to as many contacts that I can and have started a group in Calgary teaching the Winners Image. It is very rewarding to see the kind of excitement is creates when people start to see a new idea, a new way for them to look at things. Once we become aware of how we process things, how we see ourselves it is only then can we make the changes we have longed for. I have not met many people who have not wanted for more, more time for family, more money, more peace and balance. We are capable of all of these things, we just have to be woken up. Shaken from our current situations, and once it begins it moves you towards what it is you have always dreamed of. I have seen some real miracles this past week and look forward to many more.
Maybe you will be the one it happens to? Follow your dreams, live the life you have always wanted to, do not let others deter you from your dreams, they are not theirs THEY ARE YOURS!

The times they are a changing

With all of the Presidential hubbub finally coming to a close and people feeling inspired I have seem many changes going on. It is a time on the planet for great change. Society has seen things that have happened that many thought would never happen. An African American in the White House? I can honestly say that I never thought I would see it happen in my life time. I was not around in the 50's with Dr. Martin Luther King and his inspiring of a race to push for change. I am very happy with the fact that I was in my lifetime able to see this great change. I think it shows how much we have evolved as a society. In times of turmoil and uncertainty the election of Barack Obama shows that we are ready for massive change. Accountability will now start to be demanded of our elected officials. People will start to look at themselves and become responsible in their decision making. They will start to demand more of themselves and treat others as they want to be treated. This is the way that we have to move as a society, for the direction in which we were headed was a dead end street. It is not until we have complete dissatisfaction with our lives that we look for change and that day has come.
I know on my own personal journey that I have been inspired to assist my fellow man by sharing some information that has changed my life. When we desire change we look for answers, how can I make my life better? Is this what life is all about? Why am I here?
I have found these answers for myself and a way to assist others to do the same.
